This help contains the following topics:
¡ Configure the client blacklist or whitelist
Introduction
The Wireless menu displays wireless device information and wireless client statistics and allows you to configure wireless settings.
Wireless information
You can view the following information on the Wireless Info page:
· Wireless client statistics—Displays the total client quantity and the number of clients for each radio mode. Radio modes include 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n (2.4 GHz), 802.11n (5GHz), and 802.11ac.
· Wireless services—Displays summary information about wireless services, including SSID, VLAN interface, and the number of associated clients. You can click the Details button to view detailed information.
· SNR distribution—Displays distribution of clients by SNR. A larger SNR value indicates a higher WLAN quality.
· Rate distribution—Displays distribution of clients by transmission rate. A higher transmission rate indicates a higher WLAN quality.
· Online clients—Displays information about online clients, including MAC address, IP address, and SSID. To log off a client, click Log Off. To add a client to the blacklist, click Add to Blacklist.
Wireless settings
You can configure the following settings on the Wireless Settings page:
· Wireless services—Create, edit, or delete wireless services and configure WLAN features such as SSID hidden, Layer 2 isolation, and local authentication.
· APs—Configure the working frequencies and power modes for the AP.
· Client blacklist and whitelist—Configure the client blacklist or whitelist to forbid specific clients to access the WLANs or allow only the specified clients to access the WLANs.
