Overview
The device summary module allows you to:
· Display the system information, including the basic system information, system resources state, and recent system operation logs.
· Display the device information, including port, power supply, and fan information.
Displaying device summary
Displaying system information
1. Select System Information from the navigation tree.
The system information page appears.
2. View the system basic information, system resource state, and recent system logs.

Device Location |
Display the location of the device. To configure the device location information, select Device > SNMP. For more information, see the chapter “SNMP configuration.” |

SerialNum |
Display the serial number of the device. |

Display the software version of the device. |

Display the hardware version of the device. |

Bootrom Version |
Display the Boot ROM version of the device. |

Running Time |
Display the running time after the latest boot of the device. |
System resource state

Specifying system information refresh period
Select from the Refresh Period list:
· If you select a certain period, the system refreshes the system information at the specified interval.
· If you select Manual, the system refreshes the information only when you click the Refresh button.
Displaying device information
1. Select System Information from the navigation tree.
2. Click the Device Information tab.
The page for displaying system information appears.
3. View the device ports.
Hover the cursor over a port and the port details appears, including the port name, type, speed, utilization, status, and aggregation group number. For the description about the port number and its color, see Figure 2.
Similarly, you can also view the power type and working status and the fan working status.
Select from the Refresh Period list:
· If you select a certain period, the system refreshes the information at the specified interval.
· If you select Manual, the system refreshes the information only when you click the Refresh button.
