Weights, dimensions, and power consumptions
Chassis
The RFUs and HMIC interface modules are collectively called modules when you do not need to distinguish specific module types.
The router uses modular design. Its weight includes the chassis (including mounting brackets and filler panels), modules, power supplies, fan trays, and other removable components. The total weight varies by the numbers and types of the removable components.

System power consumption
The system power consumption is the total power consumption of all modules and fan trays. It varies depending on the types and numbers of the removable components.
For example, if the router is installed with two RT-RFU-560-G RFUs, two RT-HMIC-XP4 interface modules, two RT-HMIC-GT8 interface modules, and two FAN-80B-2-C fan trays, the system power consumption is 2 × 146.8 + 2 × 8.5 + 2 × 10 + 2 × 55 = 440.6 W.
Heat dissipation
Heat dissipation is measured in BTU/h. 1 W equals 3.4121 BTU/h.
The heat dissipation of a router depends on its power consumption. To calculate heat dissipation of the router, assume 90% power consumption is converted to heat, and the power supply conversion efficiency is 90%. Heat dissipation of the router per hour is 0.9 × (total power consumption of all modules and fan trays)/0.9 × 3.4121.
