交换机支持AC（Access Controller，无线控制器）功能需要在交换机上安装与款型对应的WLAN Feature包，安装该特性包后，交换机可以对AP（Access Point，无线接入点）进行管理。本手册主要用于指导用户在交换机上以增量方式安装WLAN Feature包。
目前，支持安装WLAN Feature包的交换机\系列交换机如下：
· S5560X-EI系列以太网交换机
· S7500E-XS系列高端多业务路由交换机
· S7500E系列高端多业务路由交换机（除S7502E以太网交换机、S7503E-S以太网交换机和S7506E-S以太网交换机）
· S7500X系列以太网交换机
· S7500E-X系列高端多业务路由交换机
· S10500系列核心交换机
· S12500-S系列交换机
· 当通过Telnet或SSH登录交换机安装WLAN Feature包时，如果连接中断将导致安装无法继续，因此推荐通过交换机的Console口完成WLAN Feature包的安装。
· 交换机故障期间请不要进行安装，否则可能会导致安装失败或者系统异常。
· 请确保网络拓扑稳定，禁止手工重启单板和插拔单板。
· 硬件资源匮乏或耗尽时，请勿安装。
· 请确保系统中除了当前执行安装命令的用户无其他用户登录。
· 请不要执行与安装过程无关的配置命令，以免影响配置效果。
· 安装、卸载Feature包前，请先通过display system stable state查看设备是否处于稳定状态。只有System State处于Stable状态，才能进行安装或卸载。
· 安装完成后，如需配置设备，请重新登录。
请通过display device命令了解设备的当前状态。请确保此时所有设备均为正常状态，对于故障设备请先行排除故障后，再进行安装。
· 请确保设备上有足够的磁盘空间保存、安装、更新Feature包。
· 如果更新的目标版本与设备当前运行版本有功能删减，请务必确保手工将目标版本不支持的配置全部删除。
· 使用save命令保存当前配置。
· 通过FTP或TFTP将Feature包下载到交换机上任一文件系统的根目录。
· 下载后，通过display install package命令确定Feature包的版本是否正确。
如果当前系统没有运行相同类型的Feature包，则该过程称为安装Feature包。
安装Feature包时需要先激活Feature包，Feature包激活只在设备本次运行过程中生效，用户只有配置install commit命令后，才能使此次激活的Feature包在系统重启后仍处于激活状态。
· 集中式IRF设备
安装Feature包时，必须先激活主设备上的Feature包，否则安装过程可能出错。
· 分布式设备－独立运行模式
¡ 安装Feature包时，必须先激活主用主控板上的Feature包，否则安装过程可能出错。
¡ 安装主用主控板上的Feature包时，系统会根据版本需要自动同时激活业务板、网板的Feature包，因此，业务板、网板不需要单独执行激活操作。
· 分布式设备－IRF模式
¡ 安装以成员设备为单位进行，先激活主设备上的Feature包，再激活从设备上的Feature包；成员设备内安装时，必须激活主用主控板上的Feature包。
¡ 安装主用主控板上的Feature包时，系统会根据版本需要自动同时激活业务板、网板的Feature包，因此，业务板、网板不需要单独执行激活操作。
· 安装完成后，请重新登录，以便Feature包的命令行能够生效。

当Feature包被卸载后，该软件包将处于未激活状态，系统也将不再具备该Feature包提供的功能。但是该Feature包仍然存在于存储介质上，可手动将其从存储介质上彻底删除。
Feature包卸载也只在设备本次运行过程中生效。如果用户希望系统重启后，Feature包卸载依然生效，请用户使用install commit命令确认对Feature包的操作。
Feature包和设备支持的特性/命令行是对应的。请在卸载Feature包之前，删除该Feature包对应的命令行并保存配置，以便保证已卸载的Feature包对应的命令行不会出现在下次启动配置中。否则，设备重启后，即便配置文件中有该Feature包对应的命令行，但是因为该Feature包已经卸载，这些命令行也不会生效。需要安装该Feature包后，重新执行这些命令使其生效。
· 集中式IRF设备
卸载Feature包时，必须先卸载从设备上的Feature包，再卸载主设备上的Feature包。
· 分布式设备－独立运行模式
¡ 卸载Feature包时，必须先卸载备用主控板上的Feature包，再卸载主用主控板上的Feature包。
¡ 卸载主用主控板的Feature包时，系统会根据版本需要自动同时卸载业务板、网板上的Feature包，因此，业务板、网板不需要单独执行卸载操作。
· 分布式设备－IRF模式
¡ 卸载Feature包时，以成员设备为单位，必须先卸载从设备上的Feature包，再卸载主设备上的Feature包；成员设备内卸载时，建议先卸载备用主控板上的Feature包。
¡ 卸载主用主控板的Feature包时，系统会根据版本需要自动同时卸载业务板、网板上的Feature包，因此，业务板、网板不需要单独执行卸载操作。

如果当前系统有相同类型的Feature包在运行，则该过程称为更新Feature包。
更新Feature包需要严格按照以下步骤来操作：
(1) 卸载当前版本的WLAN Feature包。（同1.4 卸载Feature包）
(2) 删除mdb文件（以默认的二进制配置文件startup.mdb举例）。
在用户视图下通过dir命令显示当前文件夹的信息；
删除startup.mdb文件（delete /unreserved startup.mdb）。
(3) 安装新的WLAN Feature包。（同1.3 安装Feature包）
(4) 安装完毕后，通过save命令保存配置以自动创建startup.mdb文件。
更新Feature包成功后，可以彻底删除旧版本的Feature包。

· IRF由两个成员设备组成：主设备的成员编号为1，从设备的成员编号为2。
· 在交换机上安装名称为S7500EXSV2-UWW.bin的Feature包，使交换机支持AC功能。
· 在确定不再使用此Feature包提供的功能后，卸载并删除此Feature包。
