Notification triggers

This notification is generated when the number of sessions on the device reaches the upper limit.

System impact

New sessions initiated by the CGN device cannot be forwarded by hardware. Too many new sessions might increase CPU usage.

1.Execute the display session table { ipv4 | ipv6 } command to verify whether the number has reached the upper limit.

  - If the upper limit is reached, expand the device capacity to store more sessions and verify whether the alarm is removed. If the alarm is not removed, go to the next step.

  - If the upper limit is not reached, go to the next step.

2.If the issue persists, collect alarm information and configuration data, and then contact H3C Support for help.
