本文档介绍了通过install命令和issu命令升级设备的配置举例。
ISSU(In-Service Software Upgrade,不中断业务升级)是一种可靠性高的升级设备启动软件的方式,可以在升级过程中做到业务不中断或中断时间较短。
ISSU包括三种升级策略:增量升级、软重启升级和重启升级。进行ISSU升级时,设备会根据新、旧软件版本差异自动选择一种升级策略。
ISSU有两种升级方式:install命令升级方式和issu命令升级方式。其主要差异在于:
· install命令仅适用与兼容版本之间的升级,而issu命令适用于兼容版本之间以及不兼容版本之间的升级。
· install命令可支持补丁的安装和卸载,而issu命令不支持。
· install命令是对每块主控板实施升级操作,因此可以将每个升级动作对系统的影响控制在最小的范围内,属于高级应用方式,但需要操作者对系统有较深入的了解,对升级每个动作所产生的影响有着准确的判断。而issu命令属于批处理命令,在IRF环境中是以成员设备为升级对象,对系统的影响范围比install命令大,但对操作者要求不高,适合大多数用户。因此一般推荐使用issu命令。
本文档中的配置均是在实验室环境下进行的配置和验证,配置前设备的所有参数均采用出厂时的缺省配置。如果您已经对设备进行了配置,为了保证配置效果,请确认现有配置和以下举例中的配置不冲突。
本文假设您已了解ISSU特性。
· 请仔细阅读软件版本说明书。了解要升级哪些类型的软件包,这些软件包之间是否兼容,以及它们和当前设备上运行的软件包版本是否兼容。根据兼容情况选择升级命令。兼容版本之间升级可以使用install命令进行升级,也可以使用issu命令进行升级;不兼容版本之间只能使用issu命令实施升级。
· 请通过display device命令了解设备的当前状态。请确保此时所有设备均为正常状态,对于故障设备请先行排除故障后,再进行ISSU升级。
· 请确保设备上所有动态聚合组的所有成员端口下LACP超时时间为长超时,即这些成员端口下都没有配置lacp period short命令。
· 请通过display mdc命令查看MDC的状态,确保所有MDC的状态均为active才可以进行ISSU升级,否则可能导致该设备升级异常。
· 请使用dir命令确认主控板的存储介质有足够的空间来存放新的软件包/IPE文件。如果空间不足,可删除部分暂时不用的文件。
· 如果需要对整个IRF进行兼容版本重启升级,在ISSU升级前,请配置IRF桥MAC地址的保留时间为6分钟或永久保留。(IRF模式)
· 如果需要对整个IRF进行不兼容升级,并且IRF桥MAC地址为将执行issu load设备中的某台设备的MAC地址时,请在执行issu load命令前配置IRF桥MAC地址的保留时间为永久保留。(IRF模式)
· 请关闭LDP、RSVP、OSPF、ISIS、RIP、BGP、VRRP、NQA等协议的BFD功能,否则ISSU升级期间可能会出现业务中断的现象。
· 请开启LDP、RSVP、OSPF、ISIS、BGP等协议的GR或NSR功能,否则ISSU升级期间可能会出现业务中断的现象。
· 请通过Console口对设备实施ISSU升级。如果通过Telnet或SSH登录设备实施ISSU升级,在升级过程中可能会因Telnet或SSH连接中断,导致ISSU升级无法继续。
· 交换网板支持逐次重启(Sequence Reboot)。重启一块交换网板时,硬件会自动选择其他交换网板接替工作,以保证业务功能正常。因此,在ISSU升级前请确保设备上至少拥有两块(以上)的交换网板。否则可能会因该交换网板重启又无备份的交换网板,导致业务中断。
· 512M内存的接口板不支持软重启升级操作。
· 硬件升级或故障期间,请不要进行ISSU升级。否则可能会导致升级失败或者系统异常。
· issu和install命令互斥,只能选择其中的一种方式进行升级。
· ISSU升级期间,请确保网络拓扑稳定,禁止手工重启单板和插拔单板。
· ISSU升级期间,请确保系统中除了当前执行ISSU升级命令的用户外无其他用户登录。
· ISSU升级期间,请不要执行ISSU之外的配置命令,以免影响配置效果。
· 禁止对启动软件包进行修改、删除以及重命名等操作。
本文档中的典型配置都是以HTTP特性的Feature包进行增量升级为例,对于IPE、Boot、System以及补丁包的升级,配置步骤类似,对系统软件功能的影响以及提示信息根据实际升级的软件包会有所差异。
如图1所示,Device作为TFTP Client,和TFTP Server之间路由可达,包含HTTP特性R0202版本的IPE文件保存在TFTP Server上。Device上配备了两块主控板(主用主控板所在的槽位号为0,备用主控板所在的槽位号为1),要求将Device上的HTTP特性从R0201版本升级到R0202版本。

本举例是在S12500-CMW710-R7129版本上进行配置和验证的。
· IPE包可包含多个不同的软件包,可以通过命令display install ipe-info查看该IPE文件中包含了哪些软件包。当使用IPE进行升级时首先需要将其解压缩,生成软件包,再根据实际需求选择相应的软件包进行升级。
· IPE文件、BIN包只需下载到主用主控板的存储介质上。用户在安装/升级备用主控板的软件时,系统会提示用户,是否需要将主用主控板上的该文件拷贝到备用主控板后再安装/升级。
· 升级已有软件包时,若存在备用主控板,必须先对备用主控板执行升级操作,再执行主用主控板的升级。否则,安装/升级过程可能出错。

本举例是在S12500-CMW710-R7129版本上进行配置和验证的。
· 通过Install命令方式升级时,在执行install commit命令后,设备将不能再对该升级进行回滚操作。
· 当升级策略为增量升级时,软件包回滚只在设备本次运行过程中生效,用户只有通过install commit命令确认软件包的更改后,才能使此次的回滚操作在系统重启后生效。
· 当升级策略为增量升级时,系统最多支持50个回滚点,当回滚点超过最大值时,旧的回滚点会被删除,新的回滚点会被保存。
本举例是在执行了4.1 HTTP特性升级配置举例(独立运行模式)中的升级操作,但未执行install commit确认操作的前提下进行的配置。

如图3所示,IRF作为TFTP Client,和TFTP Server之间路由可达,包含R0202版本HTTP特性的IPE文件保存在TFTP Server上。IRF由Master和Standby两台成员设备组成(Master的成员编号为1,主用主控板所在的槽位号为0,备用主控板所在的槽位号为1;Standby的成员编号为2,主用主控板所在的槽位号为0,备用主控板所在的槽位号为1),要求将IRF上的HTTP特性从R0201版本升级到R0202版本。

本举例是在S12500-CMW710-R7129版本上进行配置和验证的。
· IPE包可包含多个不同的软件包,可以通过命令display install ipe-info查看该IPE文件中包含了哪些软件包。当使用IPE进行升级时首先需要将其解压缩,生成软件包,再根据实际需求选择相应的软件包进行升级。
· IPE文件、BIN包只需下载到全局主用主控板的存储介质上。用户在安装/升级全局备用主控板的软件时,系统会提示用户,是否需要将全局主用主控板上的该文件拷贝到全局备用主控板后再安装/升级。
· 升级已有软件包时,以成员设备为单位进行,先升级Standby,再升级Master。成员设备内升级时,必须先对本地备用主控板执行升级操作,再执行本地主用主控板的升级。否则,安装/升级过程可能出错。

本举例是在S12500-CMW710-R7129版本上进行配置和验证的。
· IPE文件、BIN包只需下载到主用主控板的存储介质上。用户在安装/升级备用主控板的软件时,系统会提示用户,是否需要将主用主控板上的该文件拷贝到备用主控板后再安装/升级。
· 升级已有软件包时,若存在备用主控板,必须先对备用主控板执行升级操作,升级完成并主备倒换后,再执行主用主控板的升级。否则,安装/升级过程可能出错。

· 兼容版本升级的情况下,执行issu run switchover命令后系统会自动启动回滚定时器。如果在指定的时间内(回滚定时器时长,默认是45分钟,可以使用issu rollback-timer命令进行配置)未执行issu accept或者issu commit命令,则系统会自动回退到升级前的版本。
· 不兼容升级不支持自动回滚。
· 手工触发回滚与自动定时器到期触发回滚所执行的动作一致,不同的是在accepted状态能进行手工回滚,执行commit之后不能进行任何形式的回滚。
