本文档介绍了ISSU兼容和不兼容升级方式的配置举例。
ISSU(In-Service Software Upgrade,不中断业务升级)是一种可靠性高的升级设备启动软件的方式,可以在升级过程中做到业务不中断或中断时间较短。
进行ISSU升级前,请使用display version comp-matirx命令查看升级待升级启动软件包时需要使用的升级方式,使用该命令后,会在Upgrade Way中显示升级方式,具体升级方式请见表1

本文档中的配置均是在实验室环境下进行的配置和验证,配置前设备的所有参数均采用出厂时的缺省配置。如果您已经对设备进行了配置,为了保证配置效果,请确认现有配置和以下举例中的配置不冲突。
本文档假设您已了解ISSU特性。
· 请通过Console口对设备实施ISSU升级。如果通过Telnet或SSH登录设备实施ISSU升级,在升级过程中可能会因Telnet或SSH连接中断,导致ISSU升级无法继续。
· 交换网板支持逐次重启(Sequence Reboot)。重启一块交换网板时,硬件会自动选择其他交换网板接替工作,以保证业务功能正常。因此,在ISSU升级前请确保设备上至少拥有两块(以上)的交换网板。否则可能会因该交换网板重启又无备份的交换网板,导致业务中断。
· 512M内存的接口板不支持软重启升级操作。
· 硬件升级或故障期间,请不要进行ISSU升级。否则可能会导致升级失败或者系统异常。
· 请仔细阅读当前的软件版本和待升级软件版本的软件版本说明书,确认前后两个版本是否支持使用ISSU方式进行升级。
· 请通过display device命令了解设备的当前状态。请确保此时所有设备均为正常状态,对于故障设备请先行排除故障后,再进行ISSU升级。
· 请通过display mdc命令查看MDC的状态,确保所有MDC的状态均为active才可以进行ISSU升级,否则可能导致该设备升级异常。
· 请使用dir命令确认主控板/成员设备的存储介质有足够的空间来存放新的软件包/IPE文件。如果空间不足,请删除不需要的文件。

· ISSU升级期间,请确保网络拓扑稳定,禁止手工重启单板和插拔单板。
· ISSU升级期间,请确保系统中除了当前执行ISSU升级命令的用户外无其他用户登录。
· ISSU升级期间,请不要执行ISSU之外的配置命令,以免影响配置效果。
· 禁止对启动软件包进行修改、删除以及重命名等操作。
如图1所示,Device作为TFTP Client,和TFTP Server之间路由可达。Device上配备了两块主控板(主用主控板所在的槽位号为0,备用主控板所在的槽位号为1),现要求将使用ISSU方式进行设备Feature软件包的升级,将Feature软件包从r0201升级到r0202。

本举例是在S12500-CMW710-R7328P02版本上进行配置和验证的。
· 升级过程中不要执行与ISSU升级无关的命令。
· IPE文件、BIN包只需下载到主用主控板的存储介质上。用户在安装/升级备用主控板的软件时,系统会提示用户,是否需要将主用主控板上的该文件拷贝到备用主控板后再安装/升级。
· 升级已有软件包时,若存在备用主控板,必须先对备用主控板执行升级操作,升级完成并主备倒换后,再执行主用主控板的升级。否则,安装/升级过程可能出错。

上述显示信息中,设备上当前运行的软件版本(r0201)在“Version compatibility list”中,说明本次升级为兼容版本升级;“Upgrade Way”显示为File Upgrade,表示采用的升级策略是增量升级;升级过程中将受影响的功能模块为HTTP。
# 进行升级之前,使用issu rollback-timer命令设置自动回滚定时器,本例设置为120分钟(系统默认回滚定时器时间为45分钟),120分钟内没有删除定时器,设备会回滚到升级前的版本。

本举例是在S12500-CMW710-R7328P02版本上进行配置和验证的。
· IPE文件、BIN包只需下载到主用主控板的存储介质上。用户在安装/升级备用主控板的软件时,系统会提示用户,是否需要将主用主控板上的该文件拷贝到备用主控板后再安装/升级。
· 升级已有软件包时,若存在备用主控板,必须先对备用主控板执行升级操作,再执行主用主控板的升级。否则,安装/升级过程可能出错。

如图3所示,IRF作为TFTP Client,和TFTP Server之间路由可达,IRF由Master和Standby两台成员设备组成(Master的成员编号为1,本地主用主控板所在的槽位号为0,本地备用主控板所在的槽位号为1;Standby的成员编号为2,本地主用主控板所在的槽位号为0,本地备用主控板所在的槽位号为1), 现要求使用ISSU方式进行成员设备的升级,将设备启动软件包由R2111版本升级到R2112版本。

· IPE文件、BIN包只需下载到全局主用主控板的存储介质上。用户在安装/升级备用主控板的软件时,系统会提示用户,是否需要将全局主用主控板上的该文件拷贝到全局备用主控板后再安装/升级。
· 升级已有软件包时,当有多个成员设备,先升级某个从设备,然后再升级包括主设备在内的其它成员设备;当IRF中只有一个成员设备,必须先升级备用主控板,再升级主用主控板。否则,安装/升级过程可能出错。
# 从TFTP server下载test.IPE包到Master设备的根目录下,该IPE包中含有两个待升级启动软件包boot-R2112.bin包和system-R2112.bin包。

· 升级已有软件包时,当有多个成员设备,先升级某个从设备,然后再升级包括主设备在内的其它成员设备;当IRF中只有一个成员设备,必须先升级备用主控板,再升级主用主控板。否则,安装/升级过程可能出错。
