Configuring WLAN uplink detection
About WLAN uplink detection
When the uplink of a fat AP fails, clients cannot access external networks through the fat AP. This feature enables uplink connectivity detection and associates the uplink state with the radio state on a fat AP. When the uplink fails, the fat AP disables its radios, allowing clients associated with the AP to go offline and then associate with another AP.
Restrictions and guidelines: WLAN uplink detection
Make sure the specified interface type and number are the same as the interface type and number used for uplink connection.
You can specify multiple uplink interfaces if the fat AP has more than one uplink. In this case, the system disables the AP's radios only when all uplinks go down.
