Recovery notification |
Default status |
1.3.6.1.4.1.25506.2.257.1.0.1 |
The number of IPv6 Netstream entries reaches the alarm threshold of the device, module, or member device. |
Informational |
Warning |
1.3.6.1.4.1.25506.2.257.1.0.2 (hh3cNetstream6TrapEntryTHResume) |

Notification triggers
This notification is generated when the number of IPv6 NetStream entries reaches 80% of the upper limit of the module.
System impact
Too many IPv6 NetStream entries will increase the memory usage. When the number of the entries reaches the upper limit, the system might not be able to collect statistics for some of the entries.
Status control
ON
CLI: Use the snmp-agent trap enable ipv6 netstream [ entry-limit ] command.
OFF
CLI: Use the undo snmp-agent trap enable ipv6 netstream [ entry-limit ] command.

Recommended action
1.If the device has enough memory, use the ipv6 netstream max-entry command to expand the upper limit for IPv6 NetStream entries.
2.If the device has good performance, use the ipv6 netstream max-entry aging command to age out some entries when the upper limit is reached. This can resolve the issue that some entry statistics cannot be collected.
3.Adjust the incoming interface or add new modules to sort flows.
