Q. How can I clear a Telnet connection?
A. Use the free user-interface vty number command in user view to release the connection established on the specified user interface VTY.
Q. Can a Telnet user's username contain an at sign (@)?
A. The username of a Telnet user configured on the device cannot contain an at sign (@).
Q. Can the management Ethernet interface come up even if no IP address is configured for the interface?
A. The management Ethernet interface can be up as long as connections have been established on Layer 2. The software on the device has implemented traffic limit to prevent system malfunction caused by packet bursts.
