Data analysis center FAQ
Q. What are services provided by the data analysis center?
The data analysis center collects and analyzes log data for services and provides the analysis results in various forms of reports through the Web interface. It supports log data storage, traffic monitoring, and report analysis. This feature allows you to learn about the service traffic statistics and the network security status, helping you make decisions when customizing service policies.
Q. Which types of storage media are supported by the data analysis center?
The log data in the data analysis center is not only stored on the device's flash memory but also on external storage media such as hard disks and USB disks. The storage media in descending order of priority are hard disks, USB disks, and flash memory. If no hard disk space or no hard disks are available, the data will be stored on USB disks. If no USB disk space or no USB disks are available, the data will be stored on the flash memory. In addition, an alarm log is generated when the storage space of log data reaches 80% of the storage media. The storage data in a hard disk or USB disk will not get lost upon a device reboot.
Q. What are restrictions and guidelines for data analysis center configuration?
Only Web management supports displaying the results of the data analysis center. The CLI supports only configuring parameters and does not display any analysis results.
Before removing an external storage medium (Hard disks and USB disks), configure disk offloading settings as a best practice.
