One of a famous University in Tianjin is the oldest institution of higher education in the modern history of China. The cloud platform is an important part of the smart college campus project of the University. The cloud platform project covers physical server, virtualization, the cloud management platform and the cloud operation and maintenance. The Cloud Platform Project uses a full range of H3C products: the UIS Hyper-converged Server, CAS Virtualization, H3C CloudOS Education edition, APM, BSM Cloud maintenance and other software.

In the cooperation with the University, H3C customized the special edition based on the H3C CloudOS, which is the first commercial edition for college campus cloud in the industry. It also laid the leading edge of H3C in the field of college cloud computing. The cloud platform is also based on OpenStack and combines the Docker technology, and provide simple and intuitive functions of operation and maintenance management while distributing cloud resources on demand. With H3C CloudOS, the University successfully introduced the most advanced IT technologies such as OpenStack and Docker into the IT construction of universities. IT resources such as overall storage, networking, compute, and the upper-layer application software can be distributed on-demand, and the entire IT system is more flexible and agile. At the same time, the H3C cloud operation and maintenance system can monitor the resources in the dimension of the service, display the 3D server room etc, and transform the monitor from the resource monitoring to the business monitoring, which is more intuitive to present the usage the college businesses.
