Notification triggers
This notification is generated when the number of routes in the routing table for the public network exceeds the upper limit.
System impact
New entries cannot be added to the routing table for the public network, and traffic interruption might occur.
Status control
This notification cannot be disabled.

Recommended action
1. Use the display ip routing-table summary command to check the values for the Max Active Route and Remain Active Route fields to identify whether the number of routes for the public network has reached the upper limit.
2. Use the display ip routing-table statistics command to identify whether the number of routes for each protocol is as expected.
¡ If the numbers are as expected, use the ip public-instance command to enter public instance view and change the maximum number of active IPv4/IPv6 routes supported by the device to a larger value.
¡ If the numbers are not as expected, change the route settings for the target protocols as needed and then perform step 1 again. For more information about how to change the route settings for the target protocols, see the related protocol configuration guide.
3. If the issue persists, collect configuration file, log, and alarm information, and contact H3C Support.
