iot lora encrypt

Use iot lora encrypt to enable link encryption.

Use undo iot lora encrypt to disable link encryption.

Syntax

iot lora encrypt [ port port-number ]

undo iot lora encrypt

Default

Link encryption is disabled. Packets between the LoRa gateway and the LoRa server are transmitted unencrypted through the port number specified by the iot lora server-address or iot lora server-domain command.

Views

AP view

Predefined user roles

network-admin

Parameters

port-number: Specifies the port number of the LoRa server, in the range of 1025 to 65535. The default port number is 1702.

Usage guidelines

Use this command to enable packets between the LoRa gateway and the LoRa server to be transmitted encrypted through the specified port number.

Modification of LoRa server settings will clear the encryption configuration on the LoRa gateway. To have packets transmitted encrypted, re-enable link encryption for the LoRa gateway.

Examples

# Enable link encryption and specify the port number of the LoRa server as 5000.

iot lora keepalive interval

Use iot lora keepalive interval to set the interval at which the LoRa gateway sends keepalive packets to the LoRa server.

Use undo iot lora keepalive interval to restore the default.

Syntax

iot lora keepalive interval interval

undo iot lora keepalive interval

Default

The LoRa gateway sends keepalive packets to the LoRa server at intervals of 10 seconds.

Views

AP view

Predefined user roles

network-admin

Parameters

interval: Specifies the interval at which the LoRa gateway sends keepalive packets to the LoRa server. The value range for this argument is 5 to 100 seconds.

Usage guidelines

The LoRa gateway sends keepalive packets to the LoRa server at the specified intervals. If the LoRa gateway fails to receive a response from the LoRa server within three intervals, it tears down the link to the LoRa server.

As a best practice, set the interval for sending keepalive packets shorter than the interval for NAT session timeout to avoid packet loss in a NAT-enabled network.

Examples

# Configure the LoRa gateway to send keepalive packets to the LoRa server at intervals of 15 seconds.

<Sysname> system-view

[Sysname] wlan ap ap1 model WA5320X-L

[Sysname-wlan-ap-ap1] iot lora keepalive interval 15

iot lora server-address

Use iot lora server-address to specify the IP address and port number of the LoRa server.

Use undo iot lora server-address to restore the default.

Syntax

iot lora server-address ip ipv4-address port port-number [ push-port push-port-number ]

undo iot lora server-address

Default

The IP address and port number of the LoRa server are not specified.

Views

AP view

Predefined user roles

network-admin

Parameters

ip ipv4-address: Specifies the IPv4 address of the LoRa server.

port port-number: Specifies the port number of the LoRa server, in the range of 1025 to 65535.

push-port push-port-number: Specifies the push port number of the LoRa server, in the range of 1025 to 65535. The default push port number is the port number specified by the port port-number option.

Usage guidelines

The LoRa gateway can communicate with a LoRa server only after you specify the LoRa server on the LoRa gateway.

If you do not specify a push port number, the pull port number is also used as the push port number.

For an H3C LoRa server, the push port number cannot be the same as the pull port number.

The domain name configuration takes precedence over the IP address configuration. If you specify the IP address and then the domain name, the IP address is cleared and the Lora gateway will use the domain name to reestablish a link with the Lora server.

If you execute this command multiple times, the most recent configuration takes effect.

Examples

# Specify the IPv4 address and port number of the LoRa server as 192.168.1.1 and 1680, respectively.

<Sysname> system-view

[Sysname] wlan ap ap1 model WA5320X-L

Use undo iot lora server-domain to restore the default.

Syntax

undo iot lora server-domain

Default

The domain name and port number of the LoRa server are not specified.

Views

AP view

Predefined user roles

network-admin

Parameters

domain-name: Specifies the domain name of the LoRa server, a case-sensitive string of 1 to 253 characters.

ip: Resolves the domain name to an IPv4 address.

port port-number: Specifies the port number of the LoRa server, in the range of 1025 to 65535.

push-port push-port-number: Specifies the push port number of the LoRa server, in the range of 1025 to 65535. The default push port number is the port number specified by the port port-number option.

Usage guidelines

The LoRa gateway can communicate with the LoRa server only after you specify the LoRa server on the LoRa gateway.

If you do not specify a push port number, the pull port number is also used as the push port number.

For an H3C LoRa server, the push port number cannot be the same as the pull port number.

The domain name configuration takes precedence over the IP address configuration. If you specify the IP address and then the domain name of the LoRa server, the IP address is cleared and the Lora gateway will use the domain name to reestablish a link with the Lora server.

If you execute this command multiple times, the most recent configuration takes effect.

Examples

# Specify the domain name and port number of the LoRa server as server.com and 1680, respectively.

Views

LoRa radio view

Predefined user roles

network-admin

Parameters

aging-time: Specifies the aging time for end node entries, in the range of 10 to 1440 minutes.

Usage guidelines

After learning the information about an end node, the device generates an entry or refreshes the existing entry for the end node.

Perform this task to set the aging time for end node entries. If an end node entry is not refreshed within the aging time, it will be deleted.

Set an appropriate aging time based on the actual network conditions. A short aging time results in frequent entry generation and removal. A long aging time consumes massive device resources.

Examples

# Specify the aging time as 20 minutes for end node entries.

<Sysname> system-view
