PortList

OCTET STRING (0..255)

Member ports attached to the same peer.

As per the MIB.

A value of the PortList type specifies a list of ports in the format of an octet string. Each octet specifies eight ports. Within each octet, the most significant bit represents the lowest-numbered port, and the least significate bit represents the highest-numbered port. Thus, each port of the device is represented by a single bit within the value of this object. If that bit has a value of 1, then that port is included in the set of ports. The port is not included if its bit has a value of 0.

Example:

hh3cAggLinkPortList.1 (PortList) 00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.34 (hex)

Hexadecimal string 00 indicates that no ports are included in an octet. The last octet is 34 in hexadecimal format and 00110100 in binary format. Therefore, the following ports are included in the list:

Port 307 (38 × 8 + 3 = 307, where 38 is the number of times that hexadecimal string 00 appears.)

Port 308 (38 × 8 + 4 = 308)

Port 310 (38 × 8 + 6 = 310)

To view the member ports of an aggregate interface:

1.     Check the hh3cAggLinkPortList object in the hh3cAggLinkTable table to obtain the member port list.

¡     For a Layer 2 aggregate interface, this object is suffixed with the aggregate interface ID. For example, hh3cAggLinkPortList.3 lists the member ports of Bridge-Aggregation 3.

¡     For a Layer 3 aggregate interface, this object is suffixed with the sum of the aggregate interface ID and 16384. For example, hh3cAggLinkPortList.16387 lists the member ports of Route-Aggregation 3.

2.     Calculate the logical ID of each member port based on the value of the hh3cAggLinkPortList object.

3.     Check the dot1dBasePortIfIndex object in the dot1dBasePortTable table for the ifindex value mapped to the logical ID of each member port.

4.     Check the ifXTable table for the interface name mapped to each ifindex value.

Example:

The value of the hh3cAggLinkTable object is as follows:

11:hh3cAggLinkPortList.16387(PortList)00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.80.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.40 (hex)

The following member ports are included in the list:

Port 409 (51 × 8 + 1= 409, where 51 is the number of times that hexadecimal string 00 appears.)

Port 2690 (336 × 8 + 2= 2690)

The value of the dot1dBasePortIfIndex object is as follows:

127:dot1dBasePortIfIndex.409(INTEGER) 385

234:dot1dBasePortIfIndex.2690 (INTEGER) 2690

The ifindex value of port 409 is 385, and the ifindex value of port 2690 is 2690.

The value of the ifXTable table is as follows:

177:ifName.9173 (DisplayString) Route-Aggregation3[52.6F.75.74.65.2D.41.67.67.72.65.67.61.74.69.6F.6E.33 (hex)]

5:ifName.385(DisplayString) GigabitEthernet1/4/2/1[47.69.67.61.62.69.74.45.74.68.65.72.6E.65.74.31.2F.34.2F.32.2F.31 (hex)]

112:ifName.2690(DisplayString) GigabitEthernet2/5/1/2[47.69.67.61.62.69.74.45.74.68.65.72.6E.65.74.32.2F.35.2F.31.2F.32 (hex)]

Therefore, the interface name is GigabitEthernet 1/4/2/1 for port 409 and GigabitEthernet 2/5/1/2 for port 2690.

On the device, the ports are as follows:

[H3C]dislink-aggregation verbose Route-Aggregation 3
