Configuring APs to report O&M data to the server

About this task

Typically, APs report collected statistics to the AC, and the AC reports the statistics to the server at specific intervals. The reported statistics cannot display the running status of the network in real time. To resolve this issue, perform this task to enable APs to directly report O&M data to the specified server at a set interval.

Restrictions and guidelines

Set the report interval based on the actual network conditions. Setting a short interval causes significant pressure on the server, and setting a long interval cannot display the network conditions in real time.

Procedure

1.     Enter system view.

system-view

2.     Specify the IP address of the server to which APs report O&M data.

wdrc report server { ip ipv4-address | ipv6 ipv6-address } [ port port-number ]

By default, the IP address of server to which APs report O&M data is not specified.

3.     Set the interval at which APs report O&M data to the server.

wdrc report interval interval

By default, APs report O&M data to the server at intervals of 60 seconds.
