Appendix A Technical support
Collecting fault information
Before contacting Technical Support, collect the following server information to facilitate troubleshooting:
· Log and sensor information about the switch module.
· Product serial number.
· Product model and name.
· Snapshots of error messages and descriptions.
· Switch module insertion, replacement, and removal history in the chassis.
Preparing the maintenance tools
To facilitate troubleshooting, prepare the following tools:
· Diagonal pliers.
· Multimeter.
· Interface cables (network cables for example).
· Configuration terminal (PC for example).
· ESD wrist strap, ESD gloves, or ESD clothing.

Appendix B Product recycling
New H3C Technologies Co., Ltd. provides product recycling services for its customers to ensure that hardware at the end of its life is recycled. Vendors with product recycling qualification are contracted to New H3C to process the recycled hardware in an environmentally responsible way.
