H3C recently won the No.4 bid package of China Mobile’s 2021-2022 centralized procurement of high-end routers and switches, becoming the biggest winner among all the successful bidders of the centralized tender in terms of the shares of bid packages they have been granted so far.

The tender involves a total of nine bid packages, the results of eight of which have been released. H3C’s recent winning bid increased the company’s overall share of the eight bid packages to 39.32 percent, which fully demonstrates the carrier’s recognition for H3C’s capacity for innovation in communication networks and providing high-quality services.

As a trustworthy partner of carriers, H3C has been committed to developing advanced networking products, architecture and industry solutions, and participating in carriers’ 5G backbone network construction. It aims to help carriers build future networks featuring ultra-width, intelligence, simplicity and credibility.

Giving full play to its R&D capabilities, H3C has comprehensively driven the transformation and evolution of 5G networks. Its CR19000 cluster router series, the industry’s first cluster router supporting cloudization, has passed the tests of China’s three major carriers for their centralized procurement with excellent performance, and helped carriers build powerful platforms and lay a solid foundation for network innovation and transformation.

As a leader in innovating network devices including switches and vBRAS solution that features separation of forwarding and control, H3C is able to build a powerful underlying platform for future networks, and is leading the construction of networks towards a more flexible, efficient, intelligent and open architecture.

Meanwhile, it is making networks more flexible and open with its 5G cloud small cell solution, using OpenUPF (Open User Plane Function) to realize local offloading of 5G private network data, facilitating the construction of 5G independent private network with lightweight core network technology, and accelerating cloud-edge collaboration and integration with field-level edge computing solutions.

H3C will continue joining hands with China Mobile and other carriers to push back the frontiers of network evolution and transformation and innovations in 5G networks. It will help carriers grasp new opportunities in the government and enterprise industry and build a more open ecosystem to make 5G more widely applied in industry scenarios.
