oap connect
Use oap connect to log in to the CLI of an OAP module from the device.
Syntax
Distributed devices in standalone mode/centralized devices in standalone or IRF mode:
oap connect slot slot-number system system-name
Distributed devices in IRF mode:
oap connect chassis chassis-number slot slot-number system system-name
Views
User view
Predefined user roles
network-admin
Parameters
slot slot-number: Specifies an OAP module by its slot number. (Distributed devices in standalone mode.)
slot slot-number: Specifies an IRF member device by its member ID. (Centralized devices in IRF mode.)
chassis chassis-number slot slot-number: Specifies an OAP module in a member device by the member ID and slot number. (Distributed devices in IRF mode.)
system system-name: Specifies an OAP module by its device name or by its subslot number.
Usage guidelines
To return to the CLI of the hosting device from the OAP module, press Ctrl+K.
Examples
# (Distributed devices in standalone mode/centralized devices in standalone or IRF mode.) Log in to the CLI of the OAP module in slot 3.
<Sysname> oap connect slot 3 system 6
Press CTRL+K to quit.
Connected to OAP.
# (Distributed devices in IRF mode.) Log in to the CLI of the OAP module that resides in subslot 6 on the card in slot 5 of member device 2.
<Sysname> oap connect chassis 2 slot 5 system 6
Press CTRL+K to quit.
Connected to OAP.
oap reboot
Use oap reboot to reboot an OAP module.
Syntax
Distributed devices in standalone mode/centralized devices in standalone or IRF mode:
oap reboot slot slot-number system system-name
Distributed devices in IRF mode:
oap reboot chassis chassis-number slot slot-number system system-name
