H3C High-end Routers Successfully Participated in EANTC Interoperability Test

Recently, H3C WAN Routers (CR16000-M1A, CR16003E-F, CR16005E-F), Data Center Switches (S12500R-48Y8C, S12500R-48C6D) and Application-Driven Wide Area Network (AD-WAN) Controller, passed the rigorous test conducted by European Advanced Networking Test Center (EANTC). In 2025 EANTC test, H3C participated all 6 scenarios test and completed totally 211 test cases, which rank 1st among all vendors. These test results along with excellent showcase in EANTC MPLS & SRv6 AI Net World Congress in Paris highlight H3C's global leadership in open decoupled architecture and technical standardization, providing strong confidence for carriers and enterprise markets worldwide.

H3C CR16000 series routers participated EANTC test for the second time since 2024, covering all WAN typical scenarios: Orchestration and Automation, SRv6, SR-MPLS, and EVPN, and at the same time, the support for Orchestration and Automation & SRv6 scenarios are among Industry-leading level. H3C carrier-class CR16000 series routers have high performance, high reliability, and intelligence characteristics, support rich features such as SRv6, FlexE, iFIT, BNG, providing fast service provisioning, intelligent network scheduling, and deterministic network transmission for intelligent computing networks.

Orchestration and automation: Deep Compatibility Across the Entire Protocol Stack, Restructuring Network Agility

With the growing numbers of micro-segmented services, and differentiated quality and policy demands, centralized controllers for provisioning and monitoring network elements, operators can greatly improve efficiency, increase reliability, and simplify O&M tasks. H3C routers support rich SDN features include BGP-LS/Netconf/PCEP/Telemetry，support decoupling , end-to-end service deployment with mainstream controllers and E2E O&M. In EANTC SDN test scenario, H3C interconnected with third-party controllers and completed a total of 79 test cases, who covered the most Orchestration and Automation test case among all the participants. H3C also verified the computation and signaling of traffic-engineered paths for IPv4/IPv6 SR-TE (SR-MPLS) and IPv4/IPv6 SR-Policy (SRMPLS/SRv6)，FlexAlgo for intelligent path selection, provide intelligent, highly reliable networks for the Intelligent era.

H3C CR16000 Routers participated in all SR MPLS test cases, the support of SR-MPLS technology is extremely mature. The latency, bandwidth guarantees, FlexAlgo traffic scheduling, and cross-domain interoperability of SR-MPLS now meet the low-latency, high-bandwidth, and high-reliability deployment requirements of AI WAN networks;

As an advocate and pioneer of SRv6, H3C high-end router series demonstrated its strong software and hardware capabilities in SRv6 features, H3C is one of the vendors with the most comprehensive SRV6 features. At the same time, H3C actively participated in the formulation of SRv6 technical standards, it is the proposer of uRPSF source address slicing technology and one of the developers of SAVNET IETF standards.

With SRv6 Flex-Algo technology, CR16000 series achieves auto synchronization of cross-domain policies with lossless switchover for services. Through uSID (micro-segment identifier) compaction technology, SRv6 packet header can be reduced by up to 80%; according to the EANTC report, H3C is the only vendor this year to implement G-SID compaction technology; When using 32-bit compressed SID for G-SRv6, it can reduce 75% of the Segment List cost, significantly improving network transmission efficiency and greatly assisting customers in reducing bandwidth costs.
