The CSPEX-1304S, CSPEX-1404S, and CSPEX-1504S base cards are not compatible with the CSR07SRPUB1 and CSR07SRPUC1 MPUs.
Do not mix CSPEX-1304S, CSPEX-1404S, or CSPEX-1504S base cards with other CSPEX cards than these three on an SR8803-F router.
A CSPEX-1104-E card supports a maximum of three MIC-XP4L1 or MIC-GP4L subcards or a maximum of three of them in combinations.

|
IMPORTANT: · To use a MIC interface card, you must install it on a CMPE or CSPEX base card. You cannot install it directly on the router. · For the compatibility between MIC interface cards and CMPE or CSPEX base cards, see compatibility information for the base cards. · A combo interface is a logical interface that consists of an SFP port and an RJ-45 Ethernet port. Only one of the two ports can be operational at a time. · Some MIC subcards support changing the speed. For more information, see H3C SR8800-F Routers Configuration Guides. |

Configuration restrictions and guidelines
· For multi-level power distribution protection, make sure the rated current of the circuit breaker for the power input line of a power supply is not less than 1.2 times the maximum input current of the power supply.
· You must install a minimum of one power supply on the router. To improve power supply availability, you can install two power supplies on the router for redundancy.
· The power supplies installed on the router must be the same type (AC or DC) and model.
· Make sure the total maximum output power of the installed power supplies is greater than the system power consumption. As a best practice, reserve 20% of the maximum output power.
· Typically, an SR8803-F router uses power supplies of 1 RU high, and the other SR8800-F routers use power supplies of 3 RU high.
· To enable flexible use of power supplies for different overall power consumptions, H3C provides power supply adapters. The power supply adapter allow for insertion of a 1 RU high power supply into a 3 RU high power supply slot.
¡ To install a PSR650-A/PSR650-D power supply in a 3 RU power supply slot, use the LSQM1PWRSPA power supply adapter.
¡ To install a PSR1200-A/PSR1200-D power supply in a 3 RU power supply slot, use the LSQM1PWRSPB power supply adapter.

Air filters
|
CAUTION: Clean air filters periodically (once or more times every three months) to guarantee adequate ventilation and to avoid overtemperature. |
To prevent dusts from entering the chassis, you can configure air filters for the router as needed and install them at the air intakes.
The available air filters vary by router model. Select air filters compatible with your router.
Slide rails
Before rack-mounting the router, install slide rails on the rack.

AC power cords
An AC power cord is used to connect an AC power supply of a router to the external AC power supply system.
To select an AC power cord for an AC power supply, consider the following items:
· Power capacity of the power supply.
· Current-carrying capacity of the power cord.
· Region-and country-specific plug type.
The PSR320-A and PSR650-A power supplies require a 10A AC power cord. Table2-257 describes the region-and country-specific plug types for 10A AC power cords.
The PSR1200-A, PSR1400-A, and PSR2500-12AHD power supplies require a 16A AC power cord. Table2-258 describes the region-and country-specific plug types for 16A AC power cords. You need to use the 0404A0RP or 0404A0RQ AC power cord for the PSR2500-12AHD power supply. The 0404A0RP and 0404A0RQ AC power cords are available only for the PSR2500-12AHD power supply.
