Notification triggers
This notification is generated when the number of sessions on the device reaches the upper limit.
System impact
New sessions initiated by the CGN device cannot be forwarded by hardware. Too many new sessions might increase CPU usage.
Status control
ON
CLI: Use the snmp-agent trap enable session resource command.
OFF
CLI: Use the undo snmp-agent trap enable session resource command.

Recommended action
To resolve this issue:
1.Execute the display session table { ipv4 | ipv6 } command to verify whether the number has reached the upper limit.
- If the upper limit is reached, expand the device capacity to store more sessions and verify whether the alarm is removed. If the alarm is not removed, go to the next step.
- If the upper limit is not reached, go to the next step.
2.If the issue persists, collect alarm information and configuration data, and then contact H3C Support for help.

Notification triggers
This notification is generated if the hardware session resource usage exceeds the alarm threshold.
System impact
No impact is generated on services upon the triggering of the notification. However, if new sessions continue to be created and the number of sessions reaches the upper limit, the new sessions cannot be forwarded by hardware and too many new sessions might increase CPU usage.
Status control
ON
CLI: Use the snmp-agent trap enable session resource command.
OFF
CLI: Use the undo snmp-agent trap enable session resource command.

Recommended action
To resolve this issue:
1.Execute the display session table { ipv4 | ipv6 } command to verify whether the resource usage has exceeded the alarm threshold.
- If the alarm threshold is exceeded, go to step 2.
- If the alarm threshold is not exceeded, go to step 3.
2.Execute the session alarm usage threshold command to increase the alarm threshold or expand the device capacity to store more sessions. Verify whether the alarm is removed. If the alarm is not removed, proceed to step 3.
3.If the issue persists, collect alarm information and configuration data, and then contact H3C Support for help.
