Max. system input power consumption refers to the maximum input power consumption of the chassis when the chassis is fully configured with cards that have the maximum power consumption.

Max. power consumption for cards and fans refers to the maximum power consumption of all cards and fans that have the maximum power consumption in the fully configured chassis. For example, the max power consumption of cards and fans for the S9505E is the maximum power consumption of two LSR1SRP2D1 MPUs, five LSR1LN2BNL1 base cards, 10 LSR1DTCP8L1 subcards and one fan tray.

Net weight refers to the weight of the chassis (with filler panels installed), excluding fan trays, cards, and power supplies.

Full configuration refers to the maximum weight of the switch when all cards and power supplies are installed to the switch.

Rack Unit (RU) refers to the height of the chassis in the rack. 1 RU = 44.45 mm (1.75 in).

Power components

Select AC or DC power supplies according to the power supply mode of your switch.

·           Make sure the maximum output power of the power supplies exceeds the system power consumption. H3C recommends reserving a certain power de-rating value. For the maximum output power of a single power supply, see Table 10.

·           H3C recommends you to configure N+1 or N+M power supply redundancy.

·           To use AC power supply, select the specific 16 A AC power cords. For the 16A AC power cords used in different countries or regions, see Table 11.

·           An NEPS3500-A AC power frame can function properly only after you install one or two NEPS1800-A AC sub power supplies to it.
