1.1  MPLS OAM Configuration Commands

1.1.1  mpls oam

Syntax

mpls oam

undo mpls oam

View

System view

Parameters

None

Description

Use the mpls oam command to enable OAM globally.

Use the undo mpls oam command to disable OAM.

When you execute the mpls oam command, the system will clear all the current OAM configurations. As a result, all OAM configuration query operations do not take effect.

OAM instances can be configured only after the OAM function is enabled globally.

By default, OAM is disabled.

Examples

# Enable OAM globally.

<H3C> system view

[H3C] mpls oam

1.1.2  mpls oam ingress

Syntax

mpls oam ingress lsp-name lsp-name lsp-id lsp-id [ type { cv | ffd [ frequency ffd-fre ] } ] [ backward-lsp { share | lsp-name rev-lsp-name } ]

undo mpls oam ingress { all | lsp-name lsp-name }

View

System view

Parameters

lsp-name: Name of the static LSP, which is used for OAM configuration on the ingress node.

lsp-id: ID of the static LSP, which is used for setting trail termination source identifier (TTSI).

type: Specifies the type of OAM verification packet: connectivity verification (CV) or fast failure detection (FFD). By default, the packet type is CV.

ffd-fre: Transmission frequency only specific to FFD packet, which defaults to 100ms.

share: Sets the backward LSP to share LSP.

rev-lsp-name: Name of the reverse static LSP. For a share backward LSP, the name is not specified.

Description

Use the mpls oam ingress command to configure OAM and modify OAM parameters for a specified static LSP.

Use the undo mpls oam ingress command to remove the OAM instance of the specified LSP. If the all argument is specified, the system will clear all configurations on the ingress node.

&  Note:

The ingress node and the egress node should have the same backward LSP configuration: share or exclusive.

Examples

# Configure OAM on the ingress node.

<H3C> system view

[H3C] mpls oam ingress lsp-name pe1-pe2 lsp-id 1 type ffd backward-lsp lsp-name pe2-pe1

1.1.3  mpls oam ingress enable

Syntax

mpls oam ingress enable { all | lsp-name lsp-name }

holdofftime: Protection switching delay at the step of 100 ms. The default value is 0 ms and the maximum value is 10s.

mode: Specifies a switch back mode (after the primary LSP recovered from a fault, data flows will switch from the secondary LSP back to the primary LSP): revertive or non-revertive. The default mode is non-revertive.

wtrtime: Switch back time specific to revertive mode at the step of 30s. By default, it is 24 (12 min).

Description

Use the mpls protect-switch command to create a protection group.

Use the undo mpls protect-switch command to delete a protection group.

&  Note:

In a protection group, the primary and secondary LSPs must have the same FEC, but different egress labels.

Examples

# Create a protection group.
