Preface

The H3C S6800 documentation set includes 9 configuration guides, which describe the software features for the H3C S6800 Switch Series and guide you through the software configuration procedures. These configuration guides also provide configuration examples to help you apply software features to different network scenarios.

The Fundamentals Configuration guide describes how to access the switch and use its command line interface (CLI), control user access to the switch, manage the switch and its file system, configuration files, configure RBAC, FTP, TFTP, or common software upgrade. It also introduces how to implement automatic configuration of the switch.
