HDM Management Software License Matrixes
For license-based software features, you must install licenses to use the features. This document provides information about license-based features and licenses available for them. For information about registering, installing, or managing a license, see H3C HDM Management Software Licensing Guide.
IMPORTANT: License-based features and attributes of licenses might change with software version over time. This document contains information about only licenses for software versions shipped with the products and some of the information might change over time. To obtain the most up-to-date information about licenses or information about licenses for software versions not listed in this document, contact your H3C sales representative or contact H3C Support. |
IMPORTANT: · H3C HDM management software supports only local licensing. · H3C HDM management software supports trial licenses and formal licenses. |

A trial license is time limited. When a trial license expires, the license-based feature becomes unavailable. To continue to use the feature, you must purchase and install a formal license for it. |

This feature allows users to view memory repair records. With memory intelligent repair enabled in the OS, the system can restrict OS access to faulty memory pages to avoid exceptions during access. |

Performance consultant |
Perform this task to view workload characteristics in different time ranges, and obtain the current workload matching configuration and recommended BIOS settings in real time. |
Security |
Kerberos User |
Perform this task to enable users to access HDM by using the username and password of a user account in a Kerberos role group configured on the Kerberos server. If the Kerberos server domain name is added to the PC as a local intranet zone, you can access HDM directly without entering a username or password. |
System locks |
Perform this task to lock specific server features, configurations, and firmware version to avoid mistaken or malicious modification. |

Secure erasure |
Perform this task to erase HDM, the BIOS, and storage data for the server to avoid data leakage when the server service life terminates or the server operation is terminated. |

Unified control |
Unified control feature expansion |
Perform this task to add devices one by one or in bulk. You can add a maximum of 10 devices. After activating the license, you can add up to 200 devices at most. |
