Introduction

This document describes the features, restrictions and guidelines, open problems, and workarounds for version SecCenterSMP-E1704P04. Before you use this version on a live network, back up the configuration and test the version to avoid software upgrade affecting your live network.

Restrictions and cautions

For browsers

To get better display, use browsers Google Chrome 57 or higher.

For the operating system

Set the time zone in the operating system to Shanghai East 8 district.

For device version compatibility

·            Compatible device versions are D032 and D045.

·            Configure the device to use the local time in the log timestamp. If you configure the device to use the standard GMT, the log timestamp displayed on the SMP will be different from that on the device.

·            The system supports receiving a maximum of 10000 log messages per second from devices. Exceeding logs will be dropped.

About licensing

H3C offers licensing options for you to deploy features and expand resource capacity on an as needed basis. To use license-based features, purchase licenses from H3C and install the licenses.

·            Condition: This symptom occurs when you add an area, device group, role, or administrator with the same name as an existing one.

·            Workaround: None. This issue does not affect the functionality of the feature and will be fixed in a later version.

·            Condition: This symptom occurs when you generate logs in the Chinese version and switch from the Chinese language to the English language.

·            Workaround: None. This issue does not affect the functionality of the feature and will be fixed in a later version

·            Symptom: On the Log Audit > Security Logs > Vulnerability Attack Log page, the Time Span text box cannot display the complete the time span. This symptom exists on all other pages under Log Audit.

For additional import of licenses to the platform, if the licenses imported include the hierarchical management license, the platform prompts that you should import the correct license.

·            Condition: None.
