Key features
High performance and scalability
With high-speed CPUs, the interface modules greatly improve the service processing capability and provide independent OAM engine for link status monitoring.
You can select interface modules with different number of ports and select optical transceiver modules depending on actual applications and transmission distances.
Environment-friendly design
The interface modules are compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standard.
Hot swapping
The interface modules are hot swappable. Installing and removing such a module on an operating router does not affect ongoing services on other modules. The management system monitors the module in real time and implements automated configuration for the module to ensure service continuity.

NOTE: · A combo interface is a logical interface that contains an SFP fiber port and a 1000BASE-T RJ-45 copper port. Only one port can be activated at a time. You can activate the SFP fiber port or the RJ-45 copper port at the CLI. By default, the RJ-45 copper port is activated. · Use a category 5 or above twisted pair cable to connect a 1000BASE-T RJ-45 copper port. The maximum transmission distance is 100 m (328.08 ft). |
