Key features
Channelized ports
An E1 port on the MIC-ET16L can operate in either channelized or unchannelized mode. When operating in unchannelized mode, each E1 port provides a bandwidth of 2.048 Mbps. When operating in channelized mode, each E1 port is subdivided into 32 timeslots (64 kbps per timeslot). Each timeslot can be used as a logical interface and supports timeslot bundling.
MP-group supported
Each MIC-ET16L subcard supports 16 MP-groups. Each MP-group contains up to 16 ports.
An MP-group can be used as a logical interface to carry the traffic of various services, providing multiple options for bandwidth and line selection.
