H3C vSCN5100 Virtual Smart Core Network

The H3C vSCN5100 (Virtual Smart Core Network) is a customized core network product for the carrier industry. It offers customized, open, low-latency, reliable, deterministic, and high-performance 5G core network functions to various sectors. In addition, the product typically meets the core network requirements of vertical industries such as mining, healthcare, manufacturing, and education. The H3C vSCN5100 virtual smart core network consists of network elements such as UDM, AUSF, AMF, SMF, and UPF. The core network meets the requirements of vertical industries for the 5G core network. The interfaces between vSCN network elements follow the 3GPP standard and comply with the 5G network defined by 3GPP. The network elements can be deployed as a standalone system or in a distributed manner, support access to carrier public core networks, and can also be offloaded to the border of user sites. 5G network architecture

H3C vSCN5100 acts as a converged core network for 4G/5G, offering 4G/5G customization functions on demand. It integrates HSS functionality within the UDM for managing subscribers of both 4G and 5G. The AMF combines MME functions, meeting access and mobility management requirements for 4G and 5G services. SMF and UPF integrate SGW-C/PGW-C and SGW-U/PGW-U functions, respectively, facilitating session management for both 4G and 5G. vSCN5100 supports simultaneous connections to both 4G and 5G base stations and terminals, and it facilitates high-definition audio and video calls through VoLTE and VoNR. With interoperability between 4G and 5G, including switchover, TAU, and EPS Fallback, it enhances terminal mobility and signal stability, ensuring dual-network protection for terminals. vSCN5100 supports 3GPP standard-compliant core network interfaces for both 4G and 5G, including S1-C and S1-U with LTE base stations and N2 and N3 interfaces with 5G base stations. In enterprise private networks, vSCN5100 allows existing 4G and new 5G base stations to connect simultaneously, reducing network construction costs. By converting interoperations between 4G and 5G to NE internal interface interoperations, it reduces signaling latency. Based on support of the 5G core for user plane data offloading, vSCN5100 can forward user data for both 4G and 5G down to the campus, further reducing service latency

H3C vSCN5100 supports the WX3800X hardware and integrates wireless AC capabilities. It can function as a unified WLAN and 5G access gateway, enabling integrated access for both WLAN and 5G. Additionally, it can serve as an integrated solution where the 5G network acts as the backhaul for WLAN services. This product integrates the 4G/5G core network functionality, IMS, and wireless AC into a single device that is compact yet feature-rich. It meets enterprise customers' wireless network application scenarios to the maximum extend, and saves investment costs.

H3C vSCN5100 supports integrated deployment with H3C vIMS5100 to facilitate high-definition audio and video calling services through VoLTE and VoNR. It also supports collaboration with multimedia scheduling service systems, providing standard SIP to further realize integrated scheduling services for enterprise campuses.
