An H3C 5G expansion pico station consists of a baseband unit (BBU), fiber interface picocell expansion units (FSWs), and pico radio remote units (pRRUs). As network elements of a 5G pico station, pRRU5202 pRRUs work in conjunction with the BBU and FSWs. Compliant with standards including 3GPP and built based on mature software and hardware platforms, the pRRU5202 is mainly applicable to scenarios such as hotels, schools, office buildings, and residential buildings with medium indoor wireless coverage requirements, and scenarios such as factories, parks, and hospitals that use 5G-based dedicated network applications.

Features

Support for the eCPRI protocol

The pRRU5202 supports the evolved Common Public Radio Interface (eCPRI) protocol.

Built-in high-gain antenna

The built-in high-gain omnidirectional linearly polarized antenna improves the cell coverage and capacity.

Networking with hybrid fiber-copper cables

With a hybrid fiber-copper cable, the pRRU5202 can connect to an FSW over a maximum distance of 200 m (656.17 ft).

Green, energy-efficient

Automatically places components that have not been used for a long time in hibernation.

The internal processing modules are built with low-power designs.

Use low-power components.

Cooperate with the BBU for energy conservation and emission reduction at the service layer.
