HH3C-LPBKDT-MIB
About this MIB
The loop detection mechanism performs periodic checking for Layer 2 loops and processes the interfaces with loops as configured.
Use this MIB to perform the following tasks:
● Generate traps when the loop state of an interface changes.
● Configure and view the loop detection state, loop protection action, and loop detection interval for VLANs globally.
● Configure and view the loop detection state, loop protection action, and loop detection interval for VLANs on an interface.

Notification triggers
This notification is generated when the device receives loop detection frames sent by the device itself.
System impact
If you do not remove loops, the broadcast storm caused by loops might cause network congestion or even cause the network to break down.
After loops are removed, the system impact varies by the following loop detection actions:
Block—Disables the interface from learning MAC addresses and blocks the interface.
No-learning—Disables the interface from learning MAC addresses.
Shutdown—Shuts down the interface to disable it from receiving and sending any frames.
VLAN-block—Blocks traffic of the protected VLAN where the loop is detected on the interface.
Status control
This notification cannot be turned off.
