Notification triggers
When packet loss statistics collection is enabled, iNQA periodically calculates the packet loss rate. If the packet loss rate is greater than or equal to the packet loss alarm threshold for five consecutive periods, it indicates that too many packets are lost in the instance. Then, the Analyzer generates a packet loss alarm.
Possible reasons include:
Abnormal traffic causes network congestion.
The link state is unstable.
System impact
The packet loss rate is high and may be unable to meet service requirements on packet loss. Services might be affected.

Recommended action
To resolve the issue:
1.Verify if abnormal traffic exists in the network.
2.Verify if the link state is stable during the alarming periods. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that causes link instability.
3.If the issue persists, collect alarm and configuration information, and contact Technical Support.
