OAP module commands
Only the MSR 3610, MSR 3620, MSR 3620-DP, MSR 3620-XS, MSR 3640, and MSR 3660 routers support the HMIM-OAP module.
oap connect
Use oap connect to log in to the CLI of an OAP module from the device.
Syntax
In standalone mode:
oap connect system system-name
In IRF mode:
oap connect slot slot-number [ system system-name ]

Parameters
slot slot-number: Specifies an IRF member device by its member ID. (In IRF mode.)
system system-name: Specifies an OAP module by its device name (configured by using the sysname command) or by its subslot number.
Usage guidelines
To return to the CLI of the hosting device from the OAP module, press Ctrl+K.
Examples
# (In standalone mode.) Log in to the CLI of the OAP module in the specified subslot.
<Sysname> oap connect system 1
Press CTRL+K to quit.
Connected to OAP.
# (In IRF mode.) Log in to the CLI of the OAP module in a subslot.
<Sysname> oap connect slot 1 system 6
Press CTRL+K to quit.
Connected to OAP.
oap reboot
Use oap reboot to reboot an OAP module.
Syntax
In standalone mode:
oap reboot system system-name
In IRF mode:
oap reboot slot slot-number [ system system-name ]

Parameters
slot slot-number: Specifies an IRF member device by its member ID. (In IRF mode.)
system system-name: Specifies an OAP module by its system name or subslot number. Support for this option depends on the device model.
Usage guidelines
CAUTION: Execute this command with caution. It will cause service interruption and loss of temporary data on the OAP module. |
Examples
# (In standalone mode.) Reboot the OAP module in the specified subslot.
<Sysname> oap reboot system 1
This command might cause data loss on the hard disk if the card is not been shut down.
