Overview

In the 5G era, 70% of voice services and 90% of data services occur indoors, emphasizing the importance of indoor network coverage. Due to the higher frequency bands in 5G compared to 4G, there is increased transmission and penetration loss, making it challenging to cover indoor areas through traditional methods. H3C introduces the 5G Cloud Pico Cell, consisting of a baseband processing unit (BBU), expansion unit (FSW), and remote radio frequency unit (pRRU). This solution not only addresses indoor 5G signal coverage for carriers but also resolves access issues for various network devices like WLAN and short-range IoT.
