H3C Launched New Servers

On October 18, 2018-Beijing, H3C held a launch conference in Beijing. H3C launched ten products for scenes including AI(Artificial Intelligence), hybrid IT, big data, HPC(High-Performance Computing) and intelligent edge. In addition to the new servers, H3C showcased in the exhibition area a number of flagship products that are popular in the market and some latest results of its cooperation with Intel, AMD, Microsoft and other partners.

Future Enlightening Exhibition Area

"Future Enlightening" was a centralized exhibition area for the new products of this conference. It assembled ten new products developed by H3C for five major scenes, which are weapons for users to cope with the digital transformation in the future.

AI Applications

H3C UniServer R5200 G3: Equipped with the latest Intel Xeon scalable processor and the ability to install 10 dual-width or 20 single-width GPU compute cards simultaneously, it provides the highest computing density in the industry for your AI applications. HPE Apollo 6500 Gen10: It can install 8 double-width GPUs at the same time, with the standard PCIe or NVLink with higher speed available for GPU-to-GPU interconnect. With the ultra-high bandwidth up to 300GB/s, it creates the strongest platform for AI training.

Hybrid IT Applications

H3C UniServer B16000 blade enclosure: With fully modular and redundant design, it provides superior efficiency and reliability for all nodes while maintaining high flexibility. It can also be upgraded to a 200Gb Ethernet network with options to build a high-speed data path within the data center. On the other hand, H3C has equipped it with an innovative AE engine to realize mirroring deployment and automate and intelligent virtual machine backups for users without taking up system resources.

H3C UniServer B5700 G3 computing node: The 1U half-width computing node, with two built-in Intel Xeon scalable processors, ensures sufficient computing density before meeting the needs of users for large-scale virtualization, cloud computing and other applications.

H3C UniServer B5800 G3 computing node: The 1U full-width computing node, with two built-in Intel Xeon scalable processors, provides up to 14 SFF hard drive bays and optional 9 NVMe SSD hard drives, realizing perfect balance of computing and storage.

HPC Applications

HPE Apollo 70: It adopts high-density 2U 4-node design with two built-in Cavium ThunderX2 processors of ARM v8.1 architecture in each node. Each processor contains 32 physical cores and an integrated 8-channel DDR4 memory controller, providing greater memory bandwidth than mainstream x86 platforms. Edge Computing Applications

HPE EL1000: With a new design, the enclosure not only accommodates standard Intel Xeon D and Xeon E5 processors but provides internal storage up to 8TB and two P4 GPGPU compute card slots. Subject to rigorous reliability tests, the server can operate at 55℃ in a stable and enduring manner with the enclosure mounted on the wall or otherwise installed, suitable for frontline deployment as an IoT management terminal.

Its modular and wall-mounted design also enables greater flexibility and maintainability.

In the Partner Exhibition Area, H3C showcased a number of AMD platform products, including H3C UniServer R4950 G3, HPE ProLiant DL325 Gen10, and HPE ProLiant DL385 Gen10. With strong processing power, excellent internal design and diversified positioning, the AMD platform server products of H3C have become an excellent choice for users to achieve virtualization and cloudization.

In the partner exhibition area, H3C also displayed the latest results of its cooperation with Microsoft in operating systems, cloudization, virtualization and other aspects.
