Hybrid Copper-Fiber Cable Power Distribution Distance Calculation Tool
This tool is used only for calculating the maximum power distribution distance in the one-tier and
two-tier PoE power supply scenarios when different types of hybrid copper-fiber cables are used. The
calculation result cannot be used as a basis to determine whether the power source equipment (PSE)
and powered device (PD) are compatible. For the compatibility relations between PSEs and PDs, please
contact H3C marketing personnel.
In the one-tier PoE power supply scenario, the PSE provides power directly to the connected PD (for
example, a wireless AP), and the PD has no powered devices connected to it. In the two-tier PoE
power supply scenario, the PSE provides power to the connected PD and the PD provides power to the
endpoints connected to it.
