Overview

H3C NG-MAN is an SDN-based Cloud Transport (CT) solution, providing telecom carriers with an SDN-enabled CT cloud data center which offering IaaS capabilities. It supports various types of NFV applications, facilitating fast deployment of NFV elements and automated deployment, end-to-end business management/control, and end-to-end network management/control in CT cloud networks. Network resources can be deployed and updated on-demand, significantly easing management and maintenance and effectively reducing the OPEX for carriers.

Challenges of Traditional Carrier MAN

Inflexible Network

Fixed networks and mobile networks are relatively independent, with a large maintenance workload. It is challenging to manage and integrate services uniformly.

Rigid NE Locations

Functional network elements are centrally deployed in the core layer data centers, making it difficult to adapt to the diverse demands of 5G-era services.

An innovative Carrier NG-MAN

The SDN-based NG-MAN solution offers high-performance hardware devices, including CR16000H-F, S12500F-AF series, S6900 series hardware switches, and R4900 series servers. It also includes a combination of products such as the vBRAS1000 series NFV elements, VNFM, CloudOS platform, CAS virtualization platform, ADDC, ONEStor, etc. NG-MAN adopts a spine-leaf topology to achieve the convergence of fixed and mobile networks, as well as interconnection between distributed cloud data centers, meeting the diverse service and inter-cloud communication requirements.
