China, Hangzhou, November 7, 2025 – A delegation from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) led by Professor Tuimebayev Zhanseit Kanseituly, Chairman of the Board and Rector of the University, visited H3C’s headquarters in Hangzhou following the Second Kazakhstan International Strategic Partner Forum, where H3C signed a national-level Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kazakhstan Ministry of Digital Development and Higher Education and held discussions with leading Kazakh universities.
During the visit, Gary Huang, Co-President of H3C Group and President of H3C International BG, hosted the signing ceremony for the Strategic Cooperation MoU between H3C and KazNU. Under the agreement, both sides will collaborate extensively in several key areas, including higher education digitalization, smart campus development, cloud and networking infrastructure, National Research and Education Network (NREN) advancement, and AI-powered education applications. This partnership aims to accelerate KazNU’s digital transformation and establish it as a benchmark for smart campuses and research innovation in Central Asia.

During the ceremony, Rector Tuimebayev outlined KazNU’s ongoing strategic initiatives, including campus network upgrades, modernization of research infrastructure, digital learning platform construction, and the development of data centers and AI computing systems. He emphasized that with H3C’s industry-leading ICT and digital transformation capabilities, KazNU will achieve leapfrog progress in smart campus management, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, AI innovation labs, and scientific computing networks. He also expressed his expectation to work with H3C to develop replicable and scalable digital education benchmark projects.
Huang warmly welcomed Rector Tuimebayev and his delegation, and introduced H3C’s comprehensive strengths in intelligent networking, smart campus solutions, research computing centers, cloud and AI convergence, digital security, and digital twin campus technologies. He noted that H3C will fully support KazNU in building smart campus demonstration projects and NREN network nodes, helping it become a key hub for digital education and research innovation in Central Asia.
Before the meeting, the KazNU delegation visited H3C’s Future Factory and Innovation Experience Center in Hangzhou, where they gained an in-depth understanding of H3C’s latest achievements in campus networking, cybersecurity, cloud computing, intelligent computing, and AI applications. The delegation also experienced how H3C’s digital solutions empower educational and research institutions to enhance efficiency, innovation, and academic excellence.

Representatives from KazNU’s international cooperation and technical departments, along with Chen Yanlin, General Manager of H3C Kazakhstan, also attended the event.
