Configuring cut-through forwarding
About cut-through forwarding
A cut-through forwarding-enabled device uses only the chip register to store frames to be forwarded when congestion occurs on frame forwarding. This feature increases the forwarding rate and reduces the delay.
Feature and hardware compatibility
This feature is available only on the S12500X-AF H card series.
Procedure
1. Enter system view.
system-view
2. Enable cut-through forwarding.
