A course image is a template, or a VM used for creating teaching desktops. Space Console supports creating VDI and VOI courses.
Before creating a course, upload required application software to the shared directory on a host. Upon startup of the VM for the course, the shared storage is automatically mounted to the VM. You can access the shared directory on the VM to install required application software.
Create an image pool—Create a storage path for the course image. You need to specify the storage path when creating a course.
Add a VDI course—Create a VDI course, Import a VDI course, and Use a desktop image to build a course (hybrid office and education scenario).
Build a VDI course—Install an OS, CAStools, VdiAgent, VM client, and course-related software, and perform system optimization.
Start a VDI course—Allows the teacher client to select a course to start class after registration with the classroom and endpoint deployment. For more information, see the teacher client user manual in the education scenario.
Manage a VDI course—Manage both published and unpublished VDI courses. You can copy, download, edit, or delete courses.
