For a course that has not been published yet, you can publish, open console for, close, edit, and delete the course. For a course that has been published, you can cancel publishing, edit, or delete the course.

You can publish only a course that has not been published yet. You must close the course before publishing it.
When you publish a course, you can select a storage path created on the Data Center > Teaching Storage > GlusterFS Settings page or Data Center > Teaching Storage > Course Storage Pool Settings page. |
From the left navigation pane, select Images.
Click the Courses tab.
Select a storage path for the course, and click OK. As a best practice, select a GlusterFS storage path. The course will be published after a period of time.
You can cancel publishing for only a course that has been published. This task does not apply to level-2 images of VOI courses or imported VOI images.
From the left navigation pane, select Images.

In the dialog box that opens, click OK. The published course will be canceled after a period of time.
You can open the console for only a course that has not been published yet.
From the left navigation pane, select Images.

You can close only a running course that has not been published yet.
From the left navigation pane, select Images.

You can start only a closed course that has not been published yet.
From the left navigation pane, select Images.
Click the Courses tab.
Click in the tile for a course.
In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
You can copy both published and unpublished courses. The courses created from the copies are in unpublished state. This task does not apply to level-2 images of VOI courses or imported VOI images.
From the left navigation pane, select Images.
Click the Courses tab.
Specify the new course name and storage path.
Click OK.
You can create snapshots for both published and unpublished courses. This task does not apply to level-2 images of VOI courses or imported VOI images. Taking snapshots is a temporary disaster recovery solution. When the image files of VMs are damaged or deleted by mistake, snapshot data will also get lost. As a best practice for long-term use, back up VMs.
From the left navigation pane, select Images.
Click the Courses tab.
Click Create. In the dialog box that opens, enter the snapshot name and click OK.
To restore a snapshot for the course, select the snapshot and click Restore. To delete the snapshot, select the snapshot and click Delete.
You can download only a course that has been published. The storage path for downloaded courses varies by browser settings.
For further use of a VOI course that will be uploaded to Space Console, do not edit its name after downloading it successfully. |
From the left navigation pane, select Images.
Click the Courses tab.
Click in the tile for a course.
In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
You can edit both published and unpublished courses.
From the left navigation pane, select Images.
Click the Courses tab.
In the dialog box that opens, edit the course name, description, user access, classroom access, course logo, and advanced settings as needed, and then click OK.
You can delete both published and unpublished courses.
From the left navigation pane, select Images.
Click the Courses tab.
In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
From the left navigation pane, select Images.
Click the Courses tab.
Click the name of a VOI course to view its information.
