2.1.1 Introduction to Card

The LS81PT4GA provides four SC EPON optical ports and can be connected to ONU devices at the user end through a passive optical splitter (POS).

LS81PT8GA can work only with the LS81T12PE, LS81P12TE, Salience III and Salience III Edge engines.

When the Salience III or Salience III Edge engine is used, LS81PT8GA cannot be inserted in the sixth LPU slot on the S7506 and S7506R, but it can be inserted in any slot on the S7503.
