Manage heterogeneous migration

Heterogeneous migration allows you to migrate data on x86 servers or VMs to CAS VMs. You use a physical server or VM installed with a migration client as the source device to migrate the data on the device to a CAS VM configured with a correct migration client for P2V or V2V migration.
Restrictions and guidelines
To use the heterogeneous migration feature, you must install the heterogeneous migration component.
Heterogeneous migration does not support IPv6.
After uninstalling the migration client (before or after migration) from a source device that uses a Windows operating system, you must restart the source device. Make sure the restart does not affect running services.
