Configure a driver

When the system prompts incompatibility risks between a source device and destination VM, you can export the hardware that might be incompatible with the driver, and then import the correct driver into the target VM.

Restrictions and guidelines

If no download window prompts, get the hardware information file corresponding to the destination VM in the download directory of the browser.
You can import only one driver and its dependencies at a time. To import multiple drivers, repeat the import operation.

Export hardware information

On the top navigation bar, click Ops.
From the left navigation pane, select Service Ops > Heterogeneous Migration > Migration Task Name.
Click Set Driver.
Click Export Hardware Info. Hardware information for the target device will be exported in the .txt format.

Import a driver

On the top navigation bar, click Ops.
From the left navigation pane, select Service Ops > Heterogeneous Migration > Migration Task Name.
Click Set Driver.
Select target hardware, and then click the Import icon .
Select the correct driver based on the hardware information you exported.
