Create

Build and export an image

Build an image on a UIS or VMware virtualization platform. The image can be a standard or professional edition of Windows or Linux.

As a best practice to avoid security or compatibility issues, do not obtain images from the Internet.

This task is beyond the scope of this document. For more information about this task, see UIS or VMware documentation.

Upload an image

Upload the image to this system from a local directory if the image file size does not exceed 5 GB or through an FTP or SFTP server if the image file size is larger than 5 GB.

Create an image from a cloud host

Take a snapshot of a cloud host in this system, and then convert that snapshot to an image.
