Perform this task to import a VOI desktop image according to the endpoint type.
ARM hosts do not support VOI desktop images in current software version.
UEFI and legacy are different boot modes. The boot mode you specify for the import operation must be consistent with that from the export operation.
Before importing a VOI desktop image for a C201V endpoint, register the C201V endpoint with Space Console, and view the endpoint type on Space Console:
For user endpoints whose model is VOI-Default string, create a flavor named Default string, and make sure the resource parameters of that flavor are the same as those of the flavor for C201V endpoints. For more information about flavor configuration, see "Flavors."
The user endpoints whose model is VOI-C201V use the default C201V flavor on Space Console.
From the left navigation pane, select Images.
Click the Desktop Images tab. Click Import.
Select desktop image type VOI, configure the parameters, and click OK.
File Type: Select the type of the file to be imported. Options include: QCOW2 and VHD.
Select Image Pool: Select the target storage path for the imported image. If no image pool is available, you can go to the image pool management page and create an image pool as described in "Create an image pool."
Parent Image: Parent image of the desktop image. When the image is used to build another image, the image becomes a parent image. When you upload a child image, you must select its parent image.
Operating System: OS type for the desktop image to import.
Endpoint Type: Endpoint type of the desktop image to import. The image can only be bound to endpoints of the same type.
