You can upload drivers for use by desktops. When a new peripheral device is attached to a desktop, the application assistant checks whether the application center has a published driver for the peripheral device. If yes, the application assistant displays the driver in the available driver list.
ARM hosts do not support driver installation.
Make sure the application assistant has been installed on cloud hosts. For more information about obtaining and installing the application assistant, see "Desktop images (office scenario)" and "Manage course images (education scenario)."
Install drivers on cloud hosts
· If Space Console is deployed in standalone mode, you can use any path on the management node to store drivers. As a best practice, use a disk larger than 100 GB to provide the driver storage path. · If Space Console is deployed in a stateful failover environment, use a path on shared storage to store drivers. |
From the left navigation pane, select Applications > Application Center > Drivers.
From the left navigation pane, select Applications > Application Center > Drivers.
Click Upload.
Configure the basic parameters, upload a driver and driver INF file (optional), and then click Next.
Configure the advanced parameters, and then click Next.
Review the configuration, and then click Finish.
Lowest OS Version: Select the lowest OS version that supports the driver.
Hardware ID: Enter hardware IDs. The system automatically parses the hardware IDs after you upload the driver. If parsing fails, use the following procedure to obtain the hardware ID of a peripheral installed on an endpoint:
Open Device Manager.
Find the device in the tree.
Right-click the device and select Properties.
Select the Details tab.
In the Property drop-down, select Hardware Ids.
Endpoint Type: Select an endpoint type registered on Space Console. The endpoint type is used for matching drivers when driver parsing fails.
Driver Version: Enter the version of the driver.
Auto Installation: Select whether to enable automatic installation for the driver. The published driver will be installed automatically on the cloud desktops with the application assistant installed in a desktop pool that has automatic software installation enabled.
Publish: Select whether to publish the driver. The application assistant displays the driver only after it is published.
Manufacturer: Enter the manufacturer name.
Release Date: Specify the driver release date.
From the left navigation pane, select Applications > Application Center > Drivers.
Click Edit for a driver.
Edit the driver parameters in "Upload and publish drivers," and then click Finish.

Use one of the following methods to delete drivers:
To delete one driver, click Delete for the driver, and then click OK in the dialog box that opens.
