If hot upgrade fails on VMs, the dashboard will list those VMs in a dialog box after you log in. You can migrate, boot, shut down, and power off those VMs. If you perform one of these operations, the management platform will automatically upgrade the VMs to restore them.
The management platform displays the hot upgrade failure prompt only upon your login after hot upgrade failure occurs. To view the prompt after login, click the icon in the top right corner. If the operator idle timeout is set to 0 second, the prompt will not appear after the Web interface is refreshed. To view the prompt, you must log in to the management platform again.
Log in to CVM, and click Process when you are prompted to handle hot upgrade failure.
Click Migrate in the Actions column for a VM.
Configure the parameters as described in "Migrate a VM," and then click OK.
Log in to CVM, and click Process when you are prompted to handle hot upgrade failure.
Click Start in the Actions column for a VM, and then click Close.
Click OK to confirm the close operation.
Log in to CVM, and click Process when you are prompted to handle hot upgrade failure.
Click Shut Down in the Actions column for a VM, and then click Close.
Click OK to confirm the close operation.
Log in to CVM, and click Process when you are prompted to handle hot upgrade failure.
Click Power Off in the Actions column for a VM, and then click Close.
Click OK to confirm the close operation.
