Configure the anti-virus service
Perform this task to protect hosts in CVM from potential attacks.
You can configure, upload, and install anti-virus packages for the hosts.
If you use the anti-virus software from AsiaInfo, follow these guidelines:
The uploaded anti-virus package must be in .tar.gz or zip format. To ensure successful package installation, make sure the file after decompression is the desired installation file, After the package is uploaded successfully, you can click Check to manually install the package. In addtion, you can incorporate AsiaInfo DSM into CAS. For more information, see "Configure AsiaInfo."
Restrictions and guidelines
In RBAC mode, only a security administrator can configure the anti-virus service. A system administrator can view anti-virus configuration but cannot upload, check the installation state of, install, and uninstall anti-virus packages.
Do not close the window or browser during the uploading process.
If you select QI-ANXIN as the anti-virus software manufacturer, configure port policies to permit the ports used by the QI-ANXIN Cloud Security service.
The QI-ANXIN Legendsec Unified Server Security Management System supports only IPv4 Syslog servers.
Procedure
On the top navigation bar, click Security.
From the left navigation pane, select Anti-Virus.
If you select AsiaInfo as the anti-virus software manufacturer, perform the following tasks:
Select a host type, and enter the directory for saving the anti-virus package.
Click any area of the dotted area to select an anti-virus package.
Click Start to upload the anti-virus package.
After the anti-virus package is successfully uploaded, the system automatically installs the anti-virus package for CVK hosts.
Click Check to check the installation state of the anti-virus package on each host.
To manually install the anti-virus package for a host, click Install in the Actions column for the host or click Install next to the OK button.
If you select QI-ANXIN as the anti-virus software manufacturer, perform the following tasks:
Configure the basic parameters and Syslog alarm settings as described in "Parameters."
Click OK.
Common parameters
Vendor: Select an anti-virus software manufacturer. The current software version supports only AsiaInfo.
AsiaInfo parameters
CVK Type: Select a CVK host type. When the anti-virus vendor is AsiaInfo, available CVK types include ARM, ARM_E0730, ARM_E0760, x86, x86_CentOS_E0730, x86_Ubuntu_E0730, and x86_E0760.
Directory: Enter the directory for saving the anti-virus package.
Patch Details: Detailed information about the anti-virus package, including the CVK type and storage path.
Current Package: Name of the most recently uploaded anti-virus package.
Name: Name of the host.
State: State of the host.
CPU Architecture: Select an option from x86 and ARM.
OS: Select an operating system type.
IP: IP address of the host.
Package State: Whether the host is installed with the anti-virus package.
Progress: Check operation state.
Action: Actions that operators can perform on the host.
To install the anti-virus patch for the host, click Install.
To uninstall the anti-virus patch for the host, click Uninstall.
Basic parameters
Proxy: Deployment mode of the QI-ANXIN anti-virus software.
Protocol: Protocol used to access the QI-ANXIN Legendsec Unified Server Security Management System. Only HTTPS is available.
Port Number: Enter the port number of the QI-ANXIN Legendsec Unified Server Security Management System.
IP Address: Enter the IP address of the QI-ANXIN Legendsec Unified Server Security Management System.
Username: Enter the username for accessing the QI-ANXIN Legendsec Unified Server Security Management System.
Password: Enter the password for accessing the QI-ANXIN Legendsec Unified Server Security Management System.
